Fostering in Faith: Ian

Energetic and funny, 10-year-old Ian enjoys swimming, playing video games, watching movies, and spending time outdoors. Since he’s so active, Ian also likes to burn energy by participating in athletic activities like football.

Healthy and academically on-target, Ian has lived in a stable foster home for more than a year. He’s made great progress, but it’s time for him to join a permanent family in which he can continue to grow and learn.

Ian would do best with parents who understand trauma and are capable and willing to advocate for his mental health needs. He would benefit from an involved, strong male role model and a family environment in which conflicts are addressed in a productive and positive manner.

Please pray that Ian finds a loving family willing to commit to him for a lifetime, so he can grow into the healthy, happy, and well-adjusted person God means for him to be.
