Fostering in Faith: Tita and Rosa

Although Tita, 6, and Rosa, 5, occasionally compete for attention, the sisters get along exceptionally well. In fact, they’re crazy about each other. They especially like to swim, play soccer, and work on arts and crafts together.

The girls have lived with two families since they entered into foster care, each for about two years. They bonded with the first family, but the foster parents were elderly and didn’t feel they could adopt two young girls. The couple remains in contact with the girls.

Tita and Rosa need a nurturing, active family, with consistent structure. They would do best with parents who have realistic expectations for children who have been in foster care. The sisters are adaptable, talkative, outgoing, and loving. They have no developmental concerns, and are relatively easy to care for – just like any other 5- and 6-year-old girls.

A two-parent family, with a nurturing mother and an attentive father would be the nicest fit for the girls. They enjoy other children, but would do best in a home where they are the only children – or, at least, the youngest – because they are used to lots of one-on-one attention.

Because they are so close, Tita and Rosa must be adopted together. Please pray that these two amazing little girls find the forever family they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
