Each year, the spirit of Christmas for Kids reminds us that hope often arrives through the kindness of a community. At Saint Francis Ministries, that spirit particularly came to life through our continued partnership with Standley Systems.
Headquartered in Chickasha, Oklahoma, Standley provides managed print services, IT solutions, and document management, including copiers, printers, and cloud security. They’ve been around since 1934, even longer than Saint Francis.
“This year, we were blessed with an incredibly generous donation of Christmas gifts from Standley Systems,” said Kerri Henderson, Director of Oklahoma Foster Care Homes. “Their team truly went above and beyond, shopping until they dropped to ensure every child served by the OKC office had gifts to open on Christmas morning. From bikes and Barbies to headphones, books, and clothes, their workforce poured so much love into our kids. There were even a few bike-building lessons and gift-wrapping crash courses along the way. It was clear how much care and intention went into making sure each child felt special and celebrated.”
Henderson also shares a personal connection that made the effort even more meaningful. “My son and daughter-in-law, who both work for Standley Systems, were instrumental in helping coordinate this effort and ensuring every foster child in our OKC office had several gifts waiting from Santa. It truly meant the world to our families. We are incredibly grateful for Standley Systems’ generosity and heart for foster children.”
For Saint Francis Ministries, partnerships like this embody our mission to provide healing and hope for children and families. As Ginny Ellis, Executive Director of Development, noted, “Standley Systems has been an excellent partner to our Foster Care Homes Oklahoma program for several years. To see them embrace Christmas for Kids this year and fulfill so many wish lists is a true expression of their generosity and care for youth in care in their community.”
That’s why partnerships like this are so important. They build community, inspire local collaboration, and enhance the lives of children and young people. Together, we continue to ensure that every child feels seen, valued, and remembered, not only at Christmas but throughout the year.
