Optimistic and tender-hearted, 14-year-old Marcus loves to build things and figure out how they work. He’s a big fan of technology and enjoys science projects, circuits, drones, and Legos. He has other interests as well, like reading, riding his bike, and playing the viola. His favorite classes in school are orchestra and robotics, and he wants to be an inventor when he grows up.
Marcus knows Saint Francis is looking for an adoptive home for him, even though he’s attached to his foster family. Unfortunately, they have not committed to adopting him. He really wants a permanent family where he can feel that he belongs and is loved.
A two-parent home with pets and children about his age would work best for Marcus. He would like to live in the city. He needs a Kansas family, preferably close to Wichita, so he can maintain a relationship with his foster family. He would likely feel out of place in a family heavily into sports since his interests are more science based.
Please pray that Marcus finds a good match – parents and siblings who will welcome him as their own and support his interests and hopes for the future.
