Talkative with an active imagination, 12-year-old Amanda loves to make up adventures. She also loves books and will gladly read to anyone who will listen. Since Amanda likes to take care of animals, she hopes to be a veterinarian when she grows up. She also likes to spend time outdoors, playing volleyball, and making people happy.
Amanda recently began participating in a youth group at church and has been active in Girl Scouts and 4-H in the past. They’re all activities that she enjoys. A seventh-grader, she struggles a bit academically, but she’s getting help.
Amanda tends to do best when she’s in a home with consistent structure and routines. She thrives when there are established rules that she must follow. She needs a family that can ensure she continues to receive the therapy she needs to be successful.
Amanda’s ideal home would include two parents in which she is either an only child or the eldest of sister siblings. A sweet and happy child, she would love to live in a rural setting near a larger community so she can get the services she needs and still have space to play outdoors with her pets.
Please pray that Amanda finds the forever family she needs to grow and heal.
