Vice President of Foster Care Homes

Valerie has spent nearly half of her Saint Francis career working with the Foster Care Homes program, so she brings a wealth of skills and experience to her job. She joined Saint Francis in 2006 as a therapist and case manager, and since then, she has held leadership positions in multiple programs, including family preservation and foster home recruitment. As Vice President of Foster Care Homes, she leads and oversees Saint Francis’ foster care programs across Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas. She also works to build community partnerships while supporting SFM licensing specialists and recruiters in training, recruiting, and supporting foster families. Valerie earned bachelor’s degrees in sociology/business (Wichita State University) and administration of justice (Southwestern University) and holds a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Friends University.
