Matt Fuqua began his career at Saint Francis in 2010 as lead accountant, and by 2017, he was serving as the organization’s controller. He left for about three years to serve as chief financial officer for Prairie View in Newton, Kansas, before returning to Saint Francis to resume his position of controller, then vice president of finance in 2022. After graduating from McPherson College with his bachelor’s degree in business administration, Matt earned his M.B.A. from Tabor College. He brings to Saint Francis a wealth of expertise in system-wide accounting and finance processes, focused on business process improvement through implementation of new systems/processes, departmental collaboration, financial analysis, and staff development.
