A laid-back guy, Tristan, 15, nevertheless works hard at both home and school. At home, he likes to help out around the house and keep up with his chores. In school, he struggles with math and reading, but he pushes himself to do the best he can. His favorite subjects are art and science.
In his leisure time, he enjoys taking walks, playing golf, and spending time with his friends. He either wants to help build high-end cars or work with animals when he grows up.
Despite all that has happened to him, Tristan remains optimistic and positive. One of his strongest qualities is perseverance. He never gives up, and this makes him proud.
Tristan needs parents who will remain patient as he develops stronger social skills. He would thrive with an understanding family that will help him process his trauma and develop his independence.
He hopes for both a mom and a dad, and has expressed interest in living in a rural area. He would prefer to have younger siblings since he often feels anxious and inadequate around older kids. He would love to have a pet dog.
