In some cases, survivors are referred to the Wichita Children’s Home staff-secure unit for a 72-hour stay, allowing them to rest while law enforcement continues their investigation and service plans are developed. The Immediate Response Team serves Sedgwick County, western Kansas, and areas stretching through Junction City, ensuring vital support for vulnerable youth. Through rapid intervention and compassionate care, Saint Francis Ministries plays a critical role in protecting and assisting trafficking survivors.
