Fostering in Faith: Leilani (Kansas)

Bright, inquisitive, and active, 12-year-old Leilani gets a kick out of math “because it’s fun.” It’s her favorite class, but it’s not the only thing she enjoys about school. She also likes to color and read.

Leilani is also an active young lady who likes to cheer, play volleyball, practice ballet, and participate in gymnastics. In fact, she wants to be a gymnast when she grows up. She also likes to laugh, especially when trying not to laugh.

Leilani wants to do well in life and be liked. She tries hard to please her foster parents and gets along well with her peers. Mostly, she wants a forever family.

Because of past trauma, Leilani needs an understanding trauma-informed family that can provide her with structure and routine. She needs parents willing to stand by her, love her unconditionally, and give her reason to hope for a bright and fulfilling future.

Please pray that Leilani finds the forever family she needs, wants, and deserves.
