Saint Francis Ministries is among 76 Kansas organizations selected by the Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) as 2026 Leadership Transformation Grant (LTG) partners. The grants, according to KLC, “will help the partner organizations create a culture that embraces change, tackles problems, and seizes opportunities.”
This year marks the eighth year Saint Francis Ministries has received the grant, and over the years, dozens of Saint Francis employees have participated. In 2026, spots will be open to any SFM employee, not just those working in Kansas.
Leadership Transformation Grants open the door to programs along the KLC Path, a three-step learning journey that emphasizes leadership as an activity, not a title. These grants empower individuals at every level of an organization to lead with purpose and effectiveness. Saint Francis staff agree.
“I was able to attend KLC in person, and enjoyed being on-site with fellow Saint Francis employees, as well as with other agencies from around the state,” says Sarah Sanders, Data Management Supervisor and 2024 participant. “KLC was enlightening and empowering and gave me additional tools to help solve problems and lead, regardless of my position.”
Adoption Case Manager and 2025 participant, Cassie Anderson, adds, “The KLC Path allowed me to feel more empowered in my daily work. I can better collaborate with co-workers to affect meaningful change with the tools and concepts learned and practiced at KLC. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to address complex issues within their organization or community.” Learn more about KLC at https://kansasleadershipcenter.org/.
