As Saint Francis Ministries celebrates its 80th anniversary, this Good Day Kansas segment highlights another important milestone: Holly’s 25 years of service and her recent promotion to President of Kansas Child Welfare.
Holly shares her journey with Saint Francis Ministries, which began with a summer job at the historic Ellsworth campus—the very place where Father Bob Mize founded the organization in 1945. Over the past 25 years, she has served in a variety of roles, from case management and placement services to risk management and leadership, helping shape programs that support children and families across Kansas.
The conversation also spotlights Saint Francis Ministries’ deep roots in western Kansas, where the organization has provided child welfare case management services for 25 years. Today, Saint Francis serves 65 counties across the state, partnering with local communities to help strengthen families, support reunification, and provide hope for children in care.
This milestone serves as both a celebration of Saint Francis Ministries’ history and a reminder of the dedicated people who continue carrying its mission forward every day.
