Saint Francis Ministries is sharing more of the stories behind its mission through its Conversations video series, a long-form content initiative designed to give viewers a deeper look at the people, programs, and life-changing work happening across the organization.
In this Good Day Kansas segment, Shane, editorial content manager for Saint Francis Ministries, discussed the inspiration behind the series and why storytelling continues to be such an important part of the organization’s mission.
Launched about a year ago, Conversations was created to expand Saint Francis Ministries’ video content library while offering a more in-depth platform to highlight programs, services, leadership insights, and success stories. Unlike shorter television segments, the video series allows for meaningful conversations that explore the heart behind the work.
The series began with conversations between President and CEO Bill Clark and Father Andrew O’Connor, whose natural rapport helped set the tone for thoughtful discussions about leadership, mission, and the organization’s impact. Episodes now average around 50 minutes and cover a range of topics tied to Saint Francis Ministries’ work.
One of the most meaningful aspects of the series is its focus on real stories from individuals and families whose lives have been changed through Saint Francis programs. Shane shared that hearing directly from families—especially those who have participated in Family Centered Treatment—has brought a deeper understanding of the impact of services in ways that written materials alone cannot fully capture.
For viewers who want to go beyond the headlines and gain a closer look at the stories of healing, hope, and resilience happening every day, Conversations offers a compelling way to connect with the mission of Saint Francis Ministries.
