Fostering in Faith: Quavez

May 2022 · Fostering in Faith, Ministry News

Fearless, active, and fast, 7-year-old Quavez needs lots of loving supervision. That supervision will be time well spent because – as his foster mom says – Quavez is affectionate, creative, funny, and fun to watch. She adds that he’ll make your heart melt.

For fun, he likes to play educational games on his iPad and work on art projects. He also loves Silly Putty and Legos. He gets along well with his peers and looks forward to recess when he can play with his friends.

Quavez needs a family committed to taking care of him and making sure his medical needs are met as he grows into an adult. Since he has difficulty expressing what he wants or needs, his forever family should be well-versed in his health history and medical needs.

A two-parent household would work best for Quavez, but a determined and dedicated single parent could be good for him, too. He functions well around other children and may likely mirror behaviors and learn from them. Please pray that Quavez finds the loving, supporting family he needs to grow and feel safe.
