David, a former teacher and school administrator, is now a foster parent with Saint Francis Ministries and a behavior intervention specialist. Inspired by his grandmother and a deep desire to give back, he began fostering as a single parent. David believes anyone with a safe and loving home can make a difference in a child’s life. He finds joy in building relationships with youth, showing them they matter, and staying connected long after they leave his home. His work with children also inspired him to write a book about the importance of validation and positive attention.
