The ninth and most recent installment of Saint Francis Ministries’ video series, “Conversations,” is now ready to view. If you haven’t checked these out yet, now’s a good time to do just that. The Reverend Andrew O’Connor does a great job interviewing our colleagues and partners across a broad range of SFM programs. It’s both entertaining and informative.
Episode 9 focuses on Project HEART, a grant-funded initiative for couples and individuals 18 and older that promotes healthy marriages, relationships, and parenting skills while supporting economic stability. Participants attend weekly two-hour workshop sessions, offered both in person and virtually, covering Marriage and Relationship Education, Pre-Marital Education, Marriage Enhancement, Divorce Reduction, Marriage Mentoring, and strategies to reduce barriers to marriage – all alongside parenting skill development.
Fr. Andrew, Executive Officer for Mission and Ministry, speaks with Todd Hadnot, Director of Project HEART, and Vernon Kampe, Project HEART Case Manager, about how these programs support the SFM mission to bring healing hope to children and families.
