Esmeralda joined Saint Francis in 2022 and serves as Executive Director of Support Services. A graduate of Texas Tech University, she brings 34 years of child welfare experience, including work with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and Saint Francis Community Based Care, along with a deep passion for advocating for children and families. In her role, Esmeralda feels privileged to oversee a broad portfolio of support services that advance permanency work. Programs under her leadership include Kinship, Placement, Transportation, Training, Preparation for Adult Living, Extended Care, Provider Relations, Data, and Clinical Utilization.
