In February, the Reverend Andrew O’Connor attended the 41st annual conference of the Episcopal Parish Network in Charlotte, North Carolina. The EPN conference brought together more than 800 clergy and lay leaders from across the country and world for a time of shared learning and generative networking. EPN exists to connect inspiring leaders from churches, ministries, and agencies of every size and type, equipping them with fresh insights and best practices for mission in a rapidly changing world.
“EPN always offers a great opportunity to engage with folks about the mission and vision of Saint Francis Ministries,” said Fr. Andrew, Executive Officer for Mission & Ministry.
Indeed, SFM was proud to be back as an EPN conference sponsor. Fr. Andrew had a great time connecting with many conference goers at the SFM booth. In addition to our booth, Fr. Andrew hosted a special luncheon for those interested in learning more about the scope and scale of SFM’s impact on the lives of the approximately 9,000 people we serve annually across all our programs.
A highlight of Fr. Andrew’s luncheon presentation was sharing the great National Adoption Day video, which highlights the story of the Torres family adding three boys to their family on November 20, 2025, in Amarillo. You can watch the video on the SFM YouTube channel by clicking here.
“Time and again, folks were excited to hear about the work we do,” said Fr. Andrew, “and it’s always a joy for me to boast about the amazing team we have at SFM. People from across our geographic footprint, the whole country, and even the world are eager to learn how they can join in and support our mission of providing healing and hope to children and families.”
