Fourteen-year-old Ian has already had a difficult life, through no fault of his own. He needs a special forever family, one that will advocate for him, ensure he receives the healthcare support he needs, and love him unconditionally.
Nonverbal and special needs, Ian wants to be understood. Determined and curious, he wants to make good choices and learn. His favorite activities in school are physical education and arts and crafts. He also enjoys watching cartoons and playing with his toy dinosaurs.
Ian loves to laugh, especially when watching television or other children playing. He works hard to learn new skills and tries to make his teacher, care providers, and social workers proud of him.
Although Ian is not capable of communicating his wishes about adoption, he is ready to be loved by a loving forever family. He deserves it.
