It’s hard to overstate the importance of community partners to the mission of Saint Francis Ministries. Whether an individual donor, corporate sponsor, or grant funder, each plays a vital role in helping us provide the best possible care to the children and families we serve.
One such partner is Pantera Energy Company in Amarillo, Texas. Last month, their Pantera Cares Committee Fund at the Amarillo Area Foundation awarded Saint Francis Ministries $500 to support the recruitment of adoptive families for children in foster care who need a forever home. The timing is especially meaningful, as November is National Adoption Month and November 21 is National Adoption Day.
During this year’s NAD celebrations in Amarillo and Lubbock, at least 30 children and 23 families experienced the joy of adoption. Thanks to Pantera’s generosity, even more children in the Texas Panhandle will be connected with loving families leading up to and during National Adoption Day 2026.
The Pantera Cares Committee determined that our adoption recruitment efforts strongly align with their key focus areas: community health, human services, education, arts, and poverty alleviation. Saint Francis Ministries is honored to partner with an organization that shares our values and vision.
“We are deeply grateful for the generous support of the Pantera Energy Corporate Giving Fund,” said Jessica Hoskins, Director of Permanency and Reunification. “Their contribution empowers us to amplify the voices of youth in foster care, helping them be seen, heard, and ultimately connected with loving families and forever homes.”
