Marlene Coria, the Master Gardener, introduces us to the wonders of Garden Therapy, a program that allows children to learn patience and responsibility through gardening. They care for a plant during their time here, which they can take home, teaching them nurturing skills and the joys of growth. Marlene highlights the transformative experiences of the children, from planting seeds to harvesting vegetables like radishes and purple carrots. This therapeutic practice not only helps children grow plants but also helps them grow personally, fostering a connection with nature and each other.
