This workshop will explore the significance in the ACE study and how it has shaped thinking about the impact of childhood trauma. The importance of recognizing signs and symptoms of trauma helps communities discover the scope of traumatic exposure experienced by their children. And finally, finding strategies that can help communities eliminate traumatic risks, that support families in minimizing unavoidable risks, and that provide recovery for children affected by traumatization to stimulate hope and healing. This workshop will be interactive.
