We provide treatment for diagnoses that include, but are not limited to:

  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Depression Disorders
  • Bipolar Disorders
  • Trauma and Stress Disorders
  • Disruptive, Impulse Control, and
  • Conduct Disorders
  • Neurodevelopmental Disorders (including Autism Spectrum Disorder)

Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP)

Saint Francis Ministries saw the need to bring the very first QRTP model to Texas to create greater access to a higher level of care for youth with immediate mental and behavioral health needs. Opening a facility in the Panhandle allows families to be more active in a child’s treatment and recovery and promotes positive permanency outcomes for children in out-of-home care.

Our QRTP model is specifically intended to provide greater benefits to children who are in out-of-home care. Youth in foster care receive treatment with others who share their experiences, which can create greater empathy and synergy in treatment rather than alienation in a group where a child may be the only one who is in foster care.

Professional, Therapeutic, and Compassionate Residential Care

Our two homes – Sagebrush House and Sunflower House – provide young people with a safe place to stay where they can work on disruptive behaviors within a home-like environment.

Supported 24/7 by an experienced interdisciplinary team of clinicians and counselors, our 21 beds and increased staff-to-client ratio ensure children receive the spiritual, emotional, and physical care they deserve.

Recognizing every child is unique, we assess each youth’s distinctive needs, adapt treatments, evaluate progress, and achieve results. Our treatment program employs an array of strategies and therapies:

    • Comprehensive Psychiatric Services
    • Medication Management
    • Nursing
    • Psychological Testing
