Saint Francis Ministries is strengthened through partnerships with community stakeholders who care about the vulnerable and at-risk children and families we serve. Through prayers, in-kind contributions and financial gifts, our community partners show their commitment to making a difference.
“We belong to each other” is a phrase we say a lot around Saint Francis Ministries. We know that no single organization can support vulnerable and at-risk children in the community by itself. Everyone is strengthened when we work together, and Saint Francis Ministries is more successful with your help.
The impact of your prayers, donations of beds that mean children get to return home earlier, or dollars changes lives. Inviting Saint Francis in to talk about foster care and adoption or allowing us to put out printed material are simple steps that makes a difference! The support of businesses, organizations, and individuals in the six states where we serve children and families changes futures for children and gives them hope.
On this page, we’ll share the stories of our business and organization partners who impact their communities with their generosity.
Please reach out to the Saint Francis Ministries development team if you’d like to learn how you can support the children and families in your community. We look forward to getting to know you!
We are so very grateful for community support of youth in foster care! Thank you to the Salina Elks Lodge #718 for their generous donation! The dollars help to support our work to help children find their way to stable and loving homes. Gary Hindman, Exalted Ruler of the Salina Elks Lodge, dropped by our offices last week to give us the check, and he shared about his extensive history in the Salina community. It is always a joy to talk with people who have spent their lives giving back. Thank you, Gary, and the Salina Elks Lodge!
A shout-out to the Farmers Bank & Trust for understanding how important it is to support local nonprofits. When communities work together, we can make a big difference! https://www.gbtribune.com/news/local-news/christmas-coffee-continues-25-year-tradition/
We mean it when we say, “Every gift we receive will be used to make kids lives’ better.” We’re grateful for our partners who take time to support our work on behalf of children in need. That’s why we love the MHK Bunco Girls of Manhattan who recently donated a bunch of books and toys to our Junction City office, which serves children and families in JC and Manhattan. Thank you!
The folks from Great Plains Manufacturing in Salina recently delivered – literally a truckload – of presents to our Otis offices. For the several of the last few years, Great Plains has partnered with us to help ensure children in foster care are not forgotten at Christmas. Our annual Christmas for Kids campaign owes much of its success to their employee toy drives and volunteers who help collect and move the toys for distribution. Thanks to Great Plains and to our own IT, Maintenance, and Foundation staffs who helped unload all the toys this week. Thanks to you, local children in foster care can expect a special Christmas.
Support shows up in many ways, and we want to do a huge shout-out to Papa Murphy’s and Papa John’s pizza places in Salina and Dodge City, Kansas, and Omaha, Nebraska.
We’re working hard to recruit committed team members, and Papa Murphy’s and Papa John’s have let us send out flyers for career fairs on their pizza boxes.
Kindness isn’t always about dollars, and we see that all the time around Saint Francis!
Big shout-out to Kroger, whose employees in the accounting department are making sure local children have a special Christmas this year. Debra Wall recently presented a check for $300 to the Saint Francis Hutchinson office for Christmas for Kids. The money will be used to purchase presents for children in foster care. Receiving the check, from left, are Permanency Specialists Audrey Sperber and Melissa Hamill and Family Support Worker Jade Henderson.
Thanks to our community partner, LOE Financial Group. They collected toys for Saint Francis in Wichita. Thanks for partnering with Saint Francis to give the gift of hope this Christmas!
We are grateful for the support of Pantera Energy Co. This generous family-owned organization not only started off our #GivingTuesday event in Texas with a $500 donation, but they shared a belief we firmly support.
“As a company, we pride ourselves on finding and extracting natural resources for the betterment of our world,” says Jason Herrick, President of Pantera Energy Co. “Our most precious natural resource is our children, so we are proud to help the wonderful work that Saint Francis Ministries is doing in healing and supporting the children of our community.”
We make a difference for children and families by working together.
